Online voting for the awards - at www.constructioncomputingawards.co.uk – will close on 10 November, with the winners announced at a London dinner on 22 November.
BIW’s web-based collaboration platform, BIW Information Channel, has been shortlisted for the following awards:
- Project management product of the year
- Business IT service provider of the year
- Management information product of the year
- Software product of the year
BIW is also on the 12-strong shortlist up for Company of the Year.
“The IT sector of the UK architecture, engineering and construction industry has long needed a major awards event, and ‘Construction Computing’ is to be applauded for organizing the competition,” says BIW chief executive Colin Smith. “I hope thousands of construction industry IT users grab the opportunity to vote for their favourites. This is a rare opportunity for vendor organisations like BIW to learn which products and companies are most highly rated by their end-users and customers.”
BIW Technologies won the ‘Entrepreneur of the Category’ in the ‘Building’ Awards 2006, announced in April.
