The ITCF annual conference, organised by Construction News, is now in its fifth year, and this will be the second time that the NCCTP has worked with the organisers to promote the technologies that support collaborative working. The NCCTP will be represented by 4Projects, Asite, BIW, Business Collaborator and Sarcophagus.
Construction collaboration technologies will be discussed in the main conference during a morning presentation by Simon Rawlinson, representing Davis Langdon and the Avanti programme. NCCTP members, including BIW, will also participate in a one-hour afternoon stream session focused on the topic.
“Many industry people want to know more about the technologies, but they can be wary of events which comprise a series of ‘sales pitches’ from technology vendors” says Paul Wilkinson, BIW head of corporate communications and author of a recently published book on the subject. “The NCCTP group has therefore aimed to provide an informed, but vendor-neutral, speaker who will help stimulate discussion between conference delegates and the main technology providers.”
