Chief technology officer, Brandon Parkes, has spearheaded software development at BIW since 2000. During this time, he has recruited and expanded the BIW software development team, helped manage BIW's key operational partnerships and contributed to the NCCTP's technical standards work.

Parkes began his career as a trainee analyst programmer working for UK construction industry software specialist CSB, where he became development manager. Prior to joining BIW as software systems director in 2000, Parkes worked at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson leading a team developing e-business applications using Java-based components.
