Danny Polaine, head of technical services, is responsible for the management of BIW’s internal and production networks as well as the external providers associated with those systems. Since joining BIW in August 2000, he has driven the expansion of the infrastructure supporting BIW's customers, ensuring it remains a constantly reliable, resilient and highly responsive platform. Polaine has also managed the implementation of a hosted environment in Dubai to support BIW's expansion in the Middle East region.

Before joining BIW Polaine worked for NatWest for 11 years, building a comprehensive set of skills including network support, email implementation, network security, software development and internet/intranet technologies.
