BIW participates in numerous industry organisations and initiatives, with our people regularly invited to speak at seminars, workshops and conferences.

We also organise many events of our own, from BIW Training courses in our Woking or Nottingham training facilities catering for less than a dozen people, through regional product launches and our national user conference to online events that you can participate in from your own PC.

BIW basic user training - following on from the succesful Autumn 09 sessions, BIW is pleased to confirm details of Spring 2010's basic user training event, to be held at our Woking offices on Wednesday 17th February

BIW webinars – BIW organised its first online seminars (webinars) in February 2008 - focused on BIW Contract Administration and BIW Tender Manager. It has also held similar events regarding complementary software by BIW software partners.

Recent events

Autumn 2008 -  BIW basic user training, Woking -  In September BIW held a series of training events aimed at first-time users, held at its Woking Office.

19 February 2009 – Construction Project Management, Bridgewater Hall, Manchester – BIW's Paul Wilkinson talked about the changing face of online construction collaboration technologies, and participated in a panel discussion, at this conference attended by over 150 delegates.

10 October 2008 – Be2camp, Building Centre, London WC1 – BIW supported the UK's first 'unconference' devoted to the application of Web 2.0 tools in the built environment, drawing on its experiences in collaboration, information-sharing, blogging, wikis, and RSS. Visit the Be2camp website (sponsored by BIW).

24-26 June 2008 – BIW user groups, Woking – BIW invited frequent users of the BIW platform to participate in a series of free user group sessions, hosted at BIW's head office in Woking.
