Steve Cooper joined BIW Technologies in 2000 as sales director, a role he continues to hold today. His responsibilities include introducing BIW's specialised SaaS solutions to a wide variety of construction clients and property owners such as Sainsbury's, Land Securities and the UK Ministry of Defence, as well as constructors and industry professionals such as Bovis Lend Lease and Mace.

Cooper had ten years' successful sales experience in the construction industry before joining BIW. In 1995, after six years at Data General and Mentor Systems, he joined CSB as COINS' sales manager, later returning to Mentor as country manager for Asia, before working as industry manager for SAP in Europe, with responsibility for the AEC (architecture, engineering and construction) sector.
