The BIW: Collaboration platform is a powerful suite of applications that can be configured to suit the precise 'workflow' requirements of each team or project. BIW avoids a 'one size fits all' approach, recognising that, in the architectural, engineering and construction (AEC) sector, common processes such as requests for information (RFIs), instructions and transmittals often vary between different companies and projects, with inputs needed from an ever-changing network of individuals and organisations. Its consultants therefore use a process management toolset to help teams to configure online processes that every team member will find consistent, efficient, flexible and familiar, while being seamlessly integrated with the core project information.
